Syncfusion has been named as a Sample Vendor of embedded analytics in four recent Gartner reports:

These reports are all-encompassing analyses of technological solutions for specific industries. The fact that each pertains to a unique sector demonstrates the wide applicability of embedded analytics. Gartner Hype Cycle reports

In these reports, embedded analytics is placed on the climb toward wider adoption and understanding, with an estimated timeline of maturation of two to five years. In its examination of the “drivers” behind embedded analytics, Gartner cites the “trend toward composable architectures” and “consumerization of analytics.”¹

Regarding the value of the first point, the reports state: “Composable embedded analytics will enable organizations to create a best-of-breed solution made up of components from vendors across the data and analytics landscape.”¹ For the second point: “Many vendors in the [analytics and business intelligence] space have shifted focus from enabling business analysts to empowering business consumers to ask and answer questions.”¹

These findings apply to the varied specializations of CRM sales technology, analytics and business intelligence, and finance analytics, and align with several of the design priorities we have built our embedded analytics solution on. Gartner Finance Technology Bullseye Report

The 2022 Finance Technology Bullseye Report divides finance technologies into categories of core finance technologies, supportive finance technologies, process automation and optimization technologies, and advanced data and analytics technologies. The tech in each category is further sorted by its presence in companies, from early explorations to outright daily use; by the overall value of the tech; and by forecasted future investments in it.

Gartner places embedded analytics in the edge of the exploring phase, nearly crossing over into adopting. According to the report, “Advanced data and analytics (including AI) is the category where we see the most technologies delivering high value and where finance executives expect to increase investments…In fact, 15% of survey respondents indicated that in the next two years, they will invest far more than now in advanced data and analytics.”² We like the sound of that.
