Introduction
Muhammed Yaman is a full-stack developer and cofounder of Dividesoft, a software development startup in Tekirdağ, Turkey. His work often centers on building web-based customer relationship management, warehouse management, and manufacturing execution systems on .NET platforms.
Challenges
Muhammed was tired of using SAP Crystal Reports and Fast Reports in his projects. “They were old…ancient,” he said. “They were not enough.” His work was hamstrung by their proprietary reporting formats and the lack of control he had over their reporting components.
On top of those issues, Crystal Reports threw random errors about COM objects and project references that caused server problems. Fast Reports was very limited in what it provided through its community edition.
Their effectiveness was declining, and Muhammed needed a new reporting platform for his company.
Solution
Muhammed knew about Bold Reports through his use of Syncfusion® components at a previous company, which continued into his work at Dividesoft. Satisfied with the data visualization components in Essential Studio®, he decided to give Bold Reports a shot. Since Dividesoft is a startup, the company qualified for the Community License, giving it nearly unrestricted access to Bold Reports capabilities for free.
Results
Since its implementation, Bold Reports has become a go-to solution for data visualization across Dividesoft’s projects. “If I want to see a visual of data, I use Bold Reports,” said Muhammed. It’s given his team a modern UI to work with and much more control over reporting elements. Additionally, he has built almost every PDF export operation in his projects with Bold Reports.
Even though he has only been using it for a couple of years, he gives Bold Reports a wholehearted endorsement: “I am already recommending it to everyone.”
